In case you missed it Calvin Johnson was quite impressive when he took batting practice prior to the Tigers 6-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night at Comerica Park.

He smacked a homer into left field. The video even shows it in slow motion.

Jim Leyland took a look. It shouldn’t be too surprising really. Calvin Johnson is an athlete and he played baseball in high school.

The Lions wide receiver was there to throw out the first pitch. He brought along teammates Nate Burleson and Marcus Harris.
